Cancer Screenings

In partnership with the Washington Breast & Cervical Health Program, underinsured and uninsured women can receive yearly health exams that include pap tests and mammograms.


National Breast Cancer Foundation’s National Mammography Program: 206-606-7800 |
Free mammograms and diagnostic services for women in need. Located at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle.


Colorectal Cancer Alliance : 877-422-2030
The Blue Hope Financial Assistance Fund and screening support is here to help low-income individuals receive screening support and help meet financial needs during cancer treatment.

Mental Health

Call if you, or someone you know, are experiencing loneliness, anxiety, mental health symptoms, suicidal thoughts, job loss, abuse, family or relationship difficulties, or alcohol or drug abuse.


Washington Recovery Help Line: 1-866-789-1511
24-hour help for substance abuse, problem gambling and mental health. Free and confidential support, linkage to local treatment providers, medication referrals for opioid use and DSHS benefits application assistance.

Transportation

Pierce Transit Shuttle: 253-581-8000
Service for individuals who live close to a regular Pierce Transit bus route but are unable to ride a regular bus due to a medical condition or disability. The person must apply for the service. There is a minimal charge for each ride. Restrictions apply.


Volunteer Chore at Catholic Community Services: 253-502-2690
This program recruits volunteers to provide transportation for low-income seniors who have no other transportation options. Income must be below approximately $1,000 per month for an individual or $1,500 for a couple.
